Postcards from Italy

Dear Monique,
Right now I’m in Italy! Italy has many artists. Have you ever heard of the Leaning Tower of Pisa? It was built many years ago. When it was built it was straight, but now it is tilted over. The Colosseum is an old fighting place. It has a big hole in the middle where the fighters fought. I met the Pope a couple of nights ago. It was packed with people! I ate some pizza and spaghetti. Today is my last day in Italy. I’m really going to miss Italy.

How has it been in Australia? Has anything bad happened? I have had a great time here in Italy. I have been to Vatican City. I’ve eaten lots of pasta and pizza. I’ve climbed up the Leaning Tower of Pisa too. Bye for now.

Dear Taj,

I am writing from Italy. On Monday I visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I even got to climb it. That night I at 88 pizzas and 1000 bowls of pasta. The next day I went on a gondola, which is like a canoe. It was great. Wish you were here.

Maddie's Spicy Cupcake Recipe

 

Makes 14

A very juicy meal that will make you very hyper and silly.

Utensils
- kettle
- large bowl
- spoon
- small bowl
- bucket

Ingredients
- Katsuma Krunch
- Spider lollypop
- Chilli
- Green tea
- Pepper
- Sand
- 4 cups of Sea water

Method

1. Boil the kettle with green tea and then pour into a cup.
2. Get some Katsuma Krunch and pour into small bowl.
3. Mash up the Katsuma Krunch with a spoon.
4. Pour the Katsuma Krunch into a large bowl.
5. Clean the spoon and mix in the green tea with the Katsuma Krunch.
6. Add a chilli.
7. Add a spider lollypop, pepper and sand.
8. Clean the spoon and mix all the ingredients.
9. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
10. Clean the small bowl and put some pepper in the bowl.
11. Get your sea water and put it into a fresh cleaned bucket.
12. Get some more sand and put it in the water.
13. Get the sand from the bucket and add it to the bowl with pepper.
14. Put the pepper and sand on top of the cupcake.

Notes
If you would like some extra flavour add a jelly snake on top!
